Overview
Luthuli Private Game Reserve is unquestionably awesome. The reserve is situated on 3,810ha within the 22,000ha Zululand Rhino Reserve, which is the second site identified by the WWF / Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife Black Rhino Range Expansion Project. Game stock will be brought up to Big 5 Status reserve standards, with 22 black rhino released in the reserve to date.

Luthuli will comprise of 30 lodges of approximately 350sqm, each spread between three camps. The lodges are designed to engage fully with the enviroment, with natural materials such as timber and stone being used throughout. High quality, durable, natural materials ensure an ease of maintenance and longevity of the buildings.

All rooms open out onto extensive covered decks, doubling the space of the home on fine days and enclosing a secure comfortable core during harsh conditions. The living areas blend seamlessly from inside to outside, and are designed to enhance the experience of being in the bush, whilst providing extreme comfort - the home becomes a private hide from which to view game drinking from the water hole or taking refuge from the mid-day heat under a tree next to the deck.
